He is Risen Indeed! Alleluia!
EASTERTIDE and ASCENSIONTIDE are times when we give thanks that Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us. He took to the cross our sins and reconciled us to Our Heavenly Father as the only pure man sacrificed himself for us
But it is more than that! To enable Jesus to be with us throughout the world, with everyone at all times he needed to return to Heavenly Realm.
We may feel that the Disciples felt His departure as a failure but it waste not. They could see, and felt that being in Heavenly Places His Spirit could and would be everywhere in God’s Creation. As we also give thanks let us remember our duty to Jesus, Our Faith in His Faith within us and respond to His gifts to us.
Let us all try to show Christ’s Love in the world in which we live.
